The Boonton High School Drama Club’s annual production for 2025, “The Music Man” by Meredith Willson, was performed on stage on March 8, 9 and 10, captivating audiences with its stunning performances, music, and impressive talent.

The moment the musical began, it was clear that the cast and crew had poured their hearts and souls into making this year’s show a truly unforgettable experience.

Under the leadership of many talented individuals, including student president Mia Kaplan, choreographers Hailey Tuohy and Olivia Edwards, band director Mr. Johnson, crew director Mr. Matarazzo, and directors Ms. Settineri and Mr. Haddad, the drama club was able to bring “The Music Man” to life. The production highlighted an incredible range of talent, from the actors’ performances to the beautifully designed sets, as well as the seamless coordination between the cast, crew, and band.

Although the process was filled with its fair share of challenges and stressful moments, the commitment and determination of every person involved ensured that the show would be a success. Whether it was late-night rehearsals or fine tuning the smallest details, the dedication to making the show a hit was undeniable. This passion was evident on stage, where the actors delivered their lines, songs, and dances with energy and precision, leaving the audience thoroughly entertained.

This year’s production also marked a bittersweet moment for the drama club, as it was the final performance for many of the Class of 2025 seniors. These students dedicated countless hours to the club throughout their high school years, and their leadership, hard work, and passion will surely be missed. While their time with the drama club may have come to a close, their contributions will live on in the memories of every performance and the legacy they leave behind.

As the final curtain fell, it was clear that the hard work of everyone involved had paid off, and “The Music Man” was a huge hit.

The drama club once again demonstrated the power of collaboration, creativity, and perseverance, leaving the audience eagerly anticipating what next year’s show will bring.
