On December 8th, Juice WRLD, also known as Jared Higgins, was pronounced dead a few days after his 21st birthday around 3 am. After landing at the Chicago Midway Airport, the famous rapper and singer suffered a medical emergency and was transported to the Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois.

Paramedics arrived at the airport and spent around 40 minutes trying to revive him. After they had no luck, he was transported to the hospital, where he, unfortunately, passed away before they could save him.

Currently, the actual cause of his death has not been confirmed, though it was suspected that he died after suffering from a seizure and a heart attack. It has also been suspected that this was triggered by a possible overdose. In the past, Juice WRLD had often spoken about his addiction to drugs, and it was also noted that he had taken several unknown pills sometime before his emergency occurred.

It is thought that he may have taken these pills in order to hide them from federal agents. The agents were to search his plane after it landed in Chicago since they suspected he may be carrying drugs or weapons. After investigation, two pistols, bullets, and over 70 pounds of marijuana were found inside the plane.

In the past couple of years, Juice WRLD has become one of the most influential rappers of his time. Some of his greatest hits include his singles “All Girls Are the Same” and “Lucid Dreams”, with multiple of his songs reaching the Billboard Hot 100. He also had a bright career ahead of him, as he was signed to Interscope Records and made a publishing deal with BMG.

Juice WRLD had greatly influenced the rap genre over the years. Many celebrities and fellow rappers have grieved his death, and rap fans around the world are shocked and are still mourning the tragic loss to the music industry.
