Chris Evans, most renown for his role of Captain America, put out a heartfelt message saying, “There will never be another Stan Lee. For decades he provided both young and old with adventure, escape comfort, confidence, inspiration, strength, friendship, and joy. The people who took part in his ingenious productions weren’t the only ones mourning Lee’s passing, but his fans were extremely devasted as well, with one fan saying, “It’s the sad passing of an icon. There will not be another man like Stan in this industry for quite some time. He was instrumental in the creation of so many of the stories that are used in comics and multimedia. He will be missed.” It couldn’t be any clearer how greatly Lee impacted the lives of many. He made dreams come true and he created a whole new world for those with an imagination.
Stan Lee’s influence on comics and entertainment surely spread worldwide, but only through Marvel was he able to create his career and name. Not only did he connect with the world through his comics, but he also connected directly with his fans, creating a personal relationship with those who looked up to him so dearly. Stan Lee wanted to inspire the imagination of his audience so we could make the world a better place, and for that, his legacy will stick around forever.
